Mr Ken Rogers (NSW) is the Director Parks and Landcare Services at Dubbo City Council. His functions include Construction/ Reconstruction/Reinstatement of Horticultural Assets, the maintenance Management of Horticultural Assets, Tree Preservation Order, River Foreshores and Riverways Management Management of Noxious Weeds, Tree Husbandry & Planting,Horticultural & Landcare Consultative Services, Sporting facilities,Community Land Management and the City's Horticultural and Landcare Planning.

    

Mr Rodney Button,SA                                   

       

               

 

Mr Jim Hullick OAM, Dip Ed.(SA)was Chief Executive Officer of the SA Local Government Association from 1976-1999, serving on national and international local government committees.  He was national president of the Murray Valley Development League for three years and was awarded the Order of Australia in 1996.

Cr Lui Basile(Vic) Gannawarra Shire Council

 

Cr Denis Sommerfeld (QLD) was the QMDC Vice Chairperson 2003 to 2004. Denis is the current Chair of the Maranoa Balonne Catchment Management Association and has been a councillor on Tara Shire Council for seven years.  Denis and his wife own and operate a rural production business specialising in breeding stud Santa Gertrudis cattle and growing cereal grains, along with their normal grazing enterprise.

                     

   

      

 

Cr Bill Gorman is a councillor and Mayor of the Corowa Shire Council. He represents Council on the Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism Association, Safe Boating Committee and the Hume to Yarrawonga Waterways Management.  He also the immediate past oresident of the association.

Region 1 Chair

Cr Mark Ward.

Mark has lived in Loxton since march 1957
He attended school in Loxton Primary & Secondary school and was elected to Loxton council in 1989. 
He is currently a Councillor in the amalgamated council and a representative for the Council MDA region 5
since the time of the Murray Valley League.

Mark is involved in many & varied committees of Loxton Waikerie Council including
Retirement village Building & Admin, committee,
Transport committee,
Health advisory Committee Loxton Hospital.
Loxton Nth Grounds Committee,
Loxton High Governing Council,
Riverland Sport & Rec Advisory Committee.

He is a CROWS supporter.

 

                                                                       

 

Region 6 Chair

Mr Maurice Wilhelm served as a Councillor for the Rural City of Murray Bridge for 12 years, 6 of these as Deputy Mayor.  He is Chair of the Mannum to Wellington LAP Group, plus a member of the Murray-Darling Basin Commission's Alley Farming Committee.  He is also a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow.

 

Region 7 Chair

Cr Raelene Telfer, JP has served Holdfast Bay and Marion Council for 15 years. She is interested in waterproofing Adelaide. Cr Telfer's  background includes teaching, community projects, accounting, personnel, administration, environmental and urban planning.


 

           

Region 8 Chair

Cr Rodney Button's life revolves around water, such is the nature of his own business, YP Pumps.

 

Region 9 Chair

Cr Mark Gooden (Wagga Wagga City Council)
