Save The Murray

Protecxt and sustain the Murray Darling Basin for future generations.

Savethemurray.com is a long-term, project centred on the maintenance of a dynamic Internet website that empowers the community to take collaborative action to clean up and protect the health of the River Murray and surrounds.

savethemurray.com :

  • creates awareness of the urgency to protect the River;
  • provides access to current and accurate information;
  • educates the community;
  • facilitates informed debate; and
  • stimulates collaboration.

This will lead to:

  • increased community support for the social, political and environmental policy changes required to meet the challenge; and
  • action through collaboration

savethemurray.com is an initiative of the Governor's Leadership Foundation program, which in turn is an initiative of VIVASA. The project, is now managed by the Murray Darling Association
