Region 8

Welcome to the information page for Region 8 of the Murray Darling Association.

This page is designed as a resource for Region 8 members, as well as a source of information for those interested in the work of the Region and on how to become more involved at a local level.

Location

The geographical boundaries of Region 8 follow the boundaries of local Government. In general, the Region could be said to cover South Australia's Mid-North, the Barossa Valley, the Yorke Peninsula, the Adelaide Plains, Port Augusta and Whyalla.

Membership

Membership of Region 8 comprises delegates from all Member-Councils of the Murray Darling Association within the Region 8 boundaries. Membership is also open to businesses and individuals.
