The Murray Darling Association welcomes applications for internships from university students with an interest in all aspects of the Murray-Darling Basin. From managing water resources to achieve balanced social, economic and environmental outcomes, to specific aspects of the natural of human environment the Basin encompasses.

We offer internships for students who have specific learning goals and outcomes in mind and will ensure that projects are meaningful to the student and the MDA at the conclusion of the placement.

As we are a not-for-profit organisation, all internships will be on a voluntary basis.

To gain the most from the internship, students must be available to work from our office, located in Echuca, Victoria, on a regular basis for the duration of their internship.

If you have a proposal for an internship please contact us with an outline of the project you are interested in undertaking, what you hope to gain from an internship at the MDA, your specific interest in working with us and any other relevant information, including your resume. We will respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible.
